Icecat introduces Icecat LIVE!

Icecat is proud to announce its new and easy way of data integration, Icecat LIVE!

Icecat LIVE is a real-time JavaScript service, providing real-time inserts in client websites. Basically it is a cutting-edge alternative to the Icecat URL service.


You benefit from easy integration and the seamless insert of a full product data-sheet as well as the seamless insert of individual content assets, without the need to use frames or iframes like in the URL service. These content assets are, amongst others the marketing text, images and our new features like product videos, 360° images or the Reasons to Buy.

In addition, you can customize the data design in your own online shop by storing icecatlive.js locally on your server, editing it to your own look and feel and switching to your customized library in your HTML code.

Currently, Open Icecat LIVE is still in the BETA phase and only available for sponsored datasheets.
Nonetheless, Open Icecat as well as Full Icecat subscribers can benefit from this new function. In the near future, Icecat LIVE will also be available for Full Icecat XML users.
