Most popular LED lamp Brands of 2014!

Light emitting diodes, better known as LEDs, are more and more widely used in small flashlights, laptops, cellular phones and televisions. LEDs have been in commercial use already since the 1970s as replacements for incandescent and neon indicator lights on electronic equipment. It has only been recently that LED manufacturing has reached a point where LEDs can be used to replace conventional lighting, such as incandescent and fluorescent bulbs. The last years we observe an increase in demand for more efficient and environmentally friendlier LED lamps. However, their high price as well as the switching costs affect their growth negatively. Nevertheless, LED lamps are one of the most promising areas of the lighting sector and in the future we expect to see them much more efficient and available at lower costs.

Icecat analyzed its data and presents you the top 10 most downloaded LED lamp brands since the beginning of 2014.

Toshiba comes in the first place with more than 610,000 downloads. Verbatim is second with around 400,000 downloads, followed by Philips with 380,000. Integral, Samsung and LG come in fourth place and the fifth and sixth place belong to Segula, SilberSonne with less than 100000 downloads.
